i was just looking through a friendster blog. and i saw " promises r nth but words" for some indead it's true. when was the last time u promised someone or someone promised you to do something? Or even to love u till the end of time and nt to let go? Maybe for some, the promised made was a promise fullfilled, they were committed and it lasted... but for some, a number of them, the promises just never lasted for long...and therefore, they felt that promises are nothing but words. i felt the same way too... being cheated in a way or another...the promises that never lasted can not even be called promises in the first place, they're just words that lies but makes u happy in a way or another. the most important part of a promise i think is to be committed to what you have said to the other person so the promsie will last and u can finally fullfill it. without commitment, nothing can be done. just like a carreer. If a promise cant be fullfilled, a person loss trust in u ... lies and promises... empty meanins and trust .... what's the world going to be lyk wen everyone breaks their promises?
